Introduction to Art

Objective: Students will demonstrate synthesis by composing 

an illustration of an element within a fairy tale.

After changing the plot, characters or an item in the story, students will
begin to create their artwork based on what they have changed from their
stories. All students are responsible for their own copy of the new story as
well as their own artwork.

Art 3/4 & 5/6 

Objective: Students will demonstrate synthesis by composing

a mixed media artwork as a team.

Students will create a composition using a motif and a pattern. Students must
use  progressive movement in their composition by changing the motif slightly
each time it is repeated.

Students who have not paid their art fee will complete
the At Criticism in Action on page 313. Students must answer all questions in
sections 1-4 using complete sentences.
