Rhythm/Balance: Rough Draft

Introduction to Art

Objective: Students will demonstrate application by 

constructing one sketch of the best thumbnail from 

yesterday for the project with 30% completion by the 

end of class.

Today we take our best thumbnail from yesterday and begin creating
a rough draft in color. The media we will be using is colored pencils.

Today we begin our space project by creating a rough draft of our
best thumbnail from yesterday for our balance project.

3/4 I want you to choose what type of balance you want to use.
It can be formal or informal.

5/6 You must find a creative way to incorporate both informal
and formal balance within one composition.

Please be sure to be considerate of students who will be using the
tables after you. Leave yourself enough time to clean up and wipe
