Introduction to Art
Objective: Students will demonstrate knowledge by
drawing the definitions of their rhythm vocabulary
with 75% accuracy by the end of class.
Materials Needed: Agenda:~Whiteboard 1. Bell Work
~Dry Erase Marker 2. Pictionary
Today we take a break from our project to play vocabulary pictionary
on the whiteboard. This will help us to better identify the different
types of rhythm.
Rhythm:
Random
Regular
Alternating
Flowing
Progressive
Art 3/4 & 5/6
Objective: Students will demonstrate application by
constructing the final draft composition of their balance
project with 50% completion by the end of class.
Materials Needed: Agenda:
~Pencil 1. Bell Work
~Sketchbook 2. Final Draft
~Colored Pencils
~Water Color
Today we continue our balance project with our final draft.
Final drafts should be finished by the end of Monday.
3/4 I want you to choose what type of balance you want to use.
It can be formal or informal.
5/6 You must find a creative way to incorporate both informal
and formal balance within one composition.

Please be sure to be considerate of students who will be using the
tables after you. Leave yourself enough time to clean up and wipe
