Texture Sketches

Introduction to Art

Objective: Students will demonstrate application by sketching

replications of texture rubbings.

~Texture rubbings paper                2. Texture rubbings replication
                           
Today we will take our texture rubbings and pick the two we like best out  of the 8. Then we will re draw those two trying to replicate the texture.

Art 3/4 & 5/6 

Objective: Students will demonstrate synthesis by composing

patterns with a motif.

                                                       3. Answer Check your understanding
                                                       4. Computer option activity (using sketchbook)
                           
Today we are reading in our Art Talk books. Start with Chapter 8 Rhythm and Movement lesson 1. We will practice creating patterns and motifs.
