Clothes Pin


Introduction to Art

Objective: Students will demonstrate synthesis by 

designing their clothespins.

  Materials Needed:                        Agenda:
~Pencil                                          1.Bell Work-Class Map test
~Sketchbook/paper                       2. Policies and Procedures review
~Clothespin                                   3. Class Map review
~Marker/Paint                               4. Begin Clothespin Project

Today we design clothespins with our names and other symbols. These clothespins will be used to hold our spot on the rack in the rack room for the semester. It will also serve as a helpful tool to stop papers from falling off the rack. Clothespins must contain school appropriate material and MUST have student's name clearly written on it.

10 pts for thumbnails (5)
10 pts for critique
10 pts for neatness

30 pts TOTAL

Due by the end of class on Wednesday.

We went over again:

-What we do when we enter the classroom
-Bell Work
-Earning daily Aztec points
-Bathroom & Drinking fountain policies
-Where we keep our artwork
-Where we keep our sketchbooks
-Where we turn in our work
-Where no name papers can be found
-Absent procedures
-My Website and email
-New table numbers
-Trash and food policies
-Location of materials
-No cell phone policy
-Art fee needs to be paid in the bookstore in two weeks.
